教學目標 : 由基本原理出發，瞭解有機分子的結構及其特性，從而理解其化學反應的機構，並將原理推廣到﹕（1）官能基轉換與有機合成；（2）有機材料的合成與應用等課題上。

（甲）基本原理﹕

2. Introduction to organic reactions (concepts of acidity, kinetics and thermodynamics)

4. Stereochemistry: conformational analysis and chirality
（乙）化學反應
5. Alkanes and alkyl halides (nucleophilic substitution and elimination reactions)
6. Alkenes and alkynes (oxidation, electrophilic adition, chain reaction and polymerization)
